The good, bad, and ugly of YouTube buying Twitch: 90 Seconds on The Verge

Google-owned YouTube (hello!) is close to securing a one billion dollar buyout of video game streaming startup Twitch. It'd be a win for both sides — YouTube has the infrastructure to scale along Twitch, who in turn has a venerable live-streaming community.
