Point-and-shoot cameras may be dying as smartphones become better and more convenient, but the Sony RX10 has something your iPhone can't replace. At $1,299.99 it's designed to be the camera for everyone and everything - with a big sensor, a long zoom lens, and a feature list geared clearly toward the average person, it's made to work for every photographer in every situation. It's the clearest proof yet that the superzoom is the future of the point-and-shoot.
