BLU Life Pure First Look

BLU has been making a noticeable impact on the mobile world by releasing low-budget smartphones that compete with Huawei and Oppo. The best part is these devices come unlocked and without a contract for a very low price. Just before CES they announced their details about their brand new Life Pure, call it their almost flagship device sporting a massive 5-inch 1080P Display, a 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of Built-in storage. It's a very spec heavy device when it comes to numbers but the best number of them all is the reasonably low price tag of only $329 off contract.

With the price cut the phone does cut a couple of corners. But design is not one of them. It's styled pretty much with iPhone 5 in mind. While it doesn't have the chamfered edges or beautiful materials, its thin slate design is very appealing.

Also, the software is only running Android 4.2 but its a heavily skinned version of Android. Running a lot of BLU's software features and the lack of a true home screen experience that is found on Android is not present here.
